Chess Tournament

The Freising Chess Club is a community of enthusiastic players of all ages and offers its members regular training, tournament formats, and team play, among other activities.

We are excited to be represented at Uferlos for the first time and to try an experiment at the same time: can chess work at a festival? Let's find out together.

The central program item is a blitz tournament following the Swiss system. All players are listed in one large table and then play a total of seven rounds against opponents of similar strength. This way everyone can take part, and of course there will be a small award ceremony at the end.

If you prefer something less formal, you are also warmly invited to drop by, talk with others, and simply play chess.
