Know Your Cycle. Own Your Choice. End the Taboos

On May 13, 2026, at 7 PM in the lecture tent at Uferlos Freising, it's time to end the taboos! We'll be talking about cycles, NFP, contraception, and society.

In an interactive mix of pub quiz, talks, and workshops, speakers from the fields of cycle knowledge, sex education, and feminist health education will explore the menstrual cycle from every possible perspective.

What exactly can you expect?

Contraception Unwrapped: Michaela Meier and Sophie Schranner from the Freising Health Department will provide an overview of all common contraceptive methods and explain how they work in the body. They will also put your cycle knowledge to the test in a pub quiz at the end of the event.

Cycle Knowledge and NFP: Before that, NFP counselor Sophie Auernhammer will refresh your cycle knowledge and show why the symptothermal method NFP according to Sensiplan is more than just a safe alternative to hormonal contraception.

Cycle & Society: Alma Lamey and Lara Ortlieb, speakers for feminist health education, will also examine what the cycle means for people from different socio-economic backgrounds, what politics should achieve, and what we can all do better together.
