Abseits Ramblers

The Abseits Ramblers play American pop music from the era when the notes learned to swing. Records were made of shellac back then and jazz played on the radio during prime time. The broad repertoire of this Freising amateur band includes both the well-known and the obscure. Top hits from famous jazz orchestras, evergreens and jazz standards sit alongside the blues classics of the early jazz era. The Abseits Ramblers came together in 2019 from the circle of friends around the legendary Freising pub and small-stage venue 'abseits', to play unplugged music that is fun and gets you moving. Led by a fantastic vocalist, the Ramblers - with five horns, a three-piece string section, tuba and drums - deliver a sound of a completely different kind.
